Toy Museum

We went to the Toy Museam near Batu Ferringhi, which was the largest toy museam in the world.

We were charged RM10 per person for the entrance fees. I, of course, got to enter free. However, Daddy and Mommy were quite disappointed with what they saw - everything was framed up just like an exhibition. Anyway, what could you expect from a museam?

I, on the other hand, quite enjoyed myself. I got to see so many toys there, and in no time, I was running from shelves to shelves, admiring the vast display of toys.

Hey, there was a spiderman on top, and he's not framed up!

Well, no matter what, this was still a new experience for me.

Palm Sunday

I followed Mommy to church on Palm Sunday. I was given a little palm and I enjoyed playing with it for sometime. But suddenly I heard some whipping sound (they were having some sketch about Jesus being whipped) and I got scared. It reminded me of the thina (cane in Hokkien). I asked Daddy to carry me out, and to Amah's house which was just nearby.

Well, when I was naughty, Amah and Chik Chik would show me the thina and make the whipping sound. That normally would do the trick, because I would quickly do as said. Since then, whenever I was out of control, just a mention of thina would turn me into a good girl in no time. So, now even Daddy and Mommy would use this technique because Amah said I was more unmanageable whenever they were around.

After Mass, Daddy and Mommy came to Amah's house to fetch me. We had lunch at the KFC in Batu Lanchang. I was thrilled when I saw this...

Indeed, I spent longer time here than at the table eating my mashed potato and bits of chicken.

In the evening, Daddy and Mommy took me to Borders. I enjoyed walking around and picking up books, but not the reading part, much to Mommy's and Daddy's dismay.

Hey, but I did spend sometime trying to understand what that book was about, even though it's upside down :)

After that, I asked for Kok Kok Beh. We spent some time there. When it's time to leave, Mommy tried to distract me by bringing me to this Elmo toy. I would instinctly pulled out the pacifier for him. But then, I grew curious and see what I did?

Hehe, it certainly didn't taste as nice as mine :)

We then went to have dinner. Initially Daddy wanted to try the Toilet Bowl restaurant, but on the way there, we passed Sakae Sushi. I immediately requested to have dinner there instead.

I loved the edamame beans and also the mochi. I refused to let Mommy or Daddy touched the mochi, even though there were 3 in total.

What a hectic day today, I certainly enjoyed my weekend with Daddy and Mommy.

My Masterpiece

Would you believe it if I told you that I actually did this on my own?

Here's how I got it done :) I could recognise all the alphabets character very well now, but I still need the tracer's help to actually write them out.

Our Family Photo

Finally our photo was ready. We took a studio family photo during Chinese New Year. Actually there were a few more poses, but Daddy and Mommy only chose this to be enlarged. The rest was just in 4R size and we did not have the soft copy since it's not a digital photo shot.

I was not cooperating very well that day, so here's the best shot I guess...

The Crocodile Game

Well, I've been to the kiddy's amusement place in Jusco for quite a number of consecutive weeks already. Mommy later found out why I needed to get a soft toy before I went there. Actually Daddy trained me to be so, because he wanted me to have a companion so that I won't be lonely. Besides, it was also meant to be a preparation before my little sister came along, so that I would learn to take care of the little ones.

Indeed, I do. There was once, when I was on the merry-go-round, ready to put the token into the slot. I've already placed my companion (a little cow) on one of the seats (there were 3 altogether). And then out of nowhere came some kids, who kept taking my companion away. I quickly went to its rescue, and luckily they put it back. But then two kids came up and wanted to have the rides. Mommy and Daddy told me to let my companion share my seat, so that all of us will get a ride. I did, but after it ended and the kids left, I went to put my companion on a seat of its own, and asked Daddy for another token. Yes, my companion should get its share of the rides too, don't you agree so?

I'm also familiar with most of games. There's one game which I particularly like - beating the crocodile. Well, last time, here's how I played it - Mommy called it the right way.

And now, here's how I played it. Mommy called it the cheating way.

Cheeky Little Me!

On Valentine's Day, I gave Mommy a fright of her life :)

Well, Amah had been taking me down to play the "pop pop" during the Chinese New Year season. It was supposed to give a "pop" sound when we threw it to the floor. So, when Daddy and Mommy came to Amah's place that day, which was also the "Pai Tin Gong Day", I suggested to Daddy and Mommy that I wanted to play that. So, we got ready to go down...

And when we reached the swimming pool area, Daddy gave one to me, and guessed what I did?

Well, if you still didn't get it, here's another version of that...

Yes, I enjoyed throwing them at Mommy. See, I was running towards the camera direction (Mommy was holding the camera, wanting to record me playing "pop pop", but little did she expect that I'll be throwing it at her!).

Hehe, I guess Mommy won't let me play with it anymore next time :)

A trip to the Kek Lok Si Temple

Daddy and Mommy took me to the Kek Lok Si Temple on the 7th day of the Lunar New Year. It's my first time there, and it was brightly lit up.

Our first stop was the souvenir shop where I was curious about almost everything.

After that, we decided to go up the hill, using a lift-like thing. And guess what's up there? Yes, all the 12 horoscope animals! I enjoyed taking photos with them. In fact I've been insisting Daddy to carry me up so that I can sit on them and pose for the camera.

While waiting for the queue to get up the animals, I noticed one girl was posing in such a way that she put two fingers in front of her eyes. And ever since then, I've been imitating her...

It took some time for Daddy and Mommy to pull me away from the animals when it's time to go home. Oh, by the way, I turned 26 months old today, and it also happened to be the birthday of everyone (according to Chinese believe, since it's the 7th day of the Chinese New Year).

Chor 2 & 3 in Ipoh

We went back to Gong Gong and Poh Poh's house on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year. Mommy dressed me in a princess-like purple dress, but she forgot to take pictures of that. That's because I slept all the way to Ipoh, and when I reached Poh Poh's house, they changed me into something cooling since it was so hot there. This time, I felt very at-home at once, unlike previous times when I would stick to Mommy or Daddy. I guess I've had enough ice-breaking sessions with them during my stay there last Christmas (that's the longest time I've been staying there so far). I could even play with Gong Gong and Poh Poh without having Mommy or Daddy to be at my side. I taught Gong Gong how to play the "Things That Go Together Puzzle", since it's his first time playing it. But of course, initially I wouldn't let them touch my toys.

I also had a fun time playing duet with Ta Yi Ma on the piano. She's an expert, so I just chipped in here and there :)

Btw, I could also play my own version, and sing along to it as well. They said I have a soprano voice, what do you think?

Snapshots of what I've been up to while in Ipoh:

And I've certainly been busy too...doing things that I can't normally do back in Penang.

Hey, I can reach the tap!

Practising on the piano...

Running the treadmill

and of course, climbing up and down the stairs!

Finally, it's time to go back. We managed to have some family photos. Too bad Ta Yi Ma had left earlier to avoid the jam so we didn't manage to take photos with her.

I certainly enjoyed my stay there. Well, won't you if you're the centre of attention? :)
