Kinderbeat Revisit

Yes, I had my first few lessons when I was hardly 1 yet, but in Oct last year, Mommy & Daddy enrolled me into this class again! I'm a participant now instead of just an observer. I am so excited; before this, I was always tagging along Jie Jie to her extra classes, but now, I can attend one of my very own!

See how much fun I had!

Playing with the rhythm stick

Then, the bell

And finally the drum

Wanna hear if we're in tune with the music?
Uhm, normally we're...
Hmm.. maybe some of us were nervous when Mommy's recording us?

Then, it's time to rock kinderbear to sleep...
I learnt how to fold the blanket from this exercise

Followed by the doggy song...

Yes, we had to bring our own doggy

Head and shoulder, knees and toes

Mommy thinks I need more practice on this...

Kinder Bear walks around...

Haha, why was everyone going to sleep?
  Good night Kinder Bear

I bet now you know why...

Did you notice that when we're walking in circles, I was just circling by myself in the middle, while the rest would tail the teacher from behind in a bigger circle? Mommy was wondering if I didn't know how to walk in circle, or I didn't like to tailgate?

Another fun song

Give me a wave!

Getting into a circle. Hmm... where's Mommy?

Swing oh swing...

Yeah, the Old Brass Wagon song...

And now, we're moving on to Book 2... with KinderRoo

 The little parade

Sometimes, I participated, sometimes I didn't. Mommy's not sure if it's because I couldn't follow, or it's because I was not in a good mood. Surprisingly, when the teacher said she'll give me sticker, I could perform much better than the rest.

Well, if compared to Jie Jie, I actually started this lesson before I was even 3, while Jie Jie only started after she's 3. So maybe that's why she could follow instructions better. Anyway, Mommy found me able to participate during my first time there (unlike Jie Jie who needed ~1 month to warm up). Maybe, I've got my warming up period before I even turned 1 :)

All in all, I enjoyed this class tremendously!

Palm Sunday

I followed Mommy to church on Palm Sunday. I was given a little palm and I enjoyed playing with it for sometime. But suddenly I heard some whipping sound (they were having some sketch about Jesus being whipped) and I got scared. It reminded me of the thina (cane in Hokkien). I asked Daddy to carry me out, and to Amah's house which was just nearby.

Well, when I was naughty, Amah and Chik Chik would show me the thina and make the whipping sound. That normally would do the trick, because I would quickly do as said. Since then, whenever I was out of control, just a mention of thina would turn me into a good girl in no time. So, now even Daddy and Mommy would use this technique because Amah said I was more unmanageable whenever they were around.

After Mass, Daddy and Mommy came to Amah's house to fetch me. We had lunch at the KFC in Batu Lanchang. I was thrilled when I saw this...

Indeed, I spent longer time here than at the table eating my mashed potato and bits of chicken.

In the evening, Daddy and Mommy took me to Borders. I enjoyed walking around and picking up books, but not the reading part, much to Mommy's and Daddy's dismay.

Hey, but I did spend sometime trying to understand what that book was about, even though it's upside down :)

After that, I asked for Kok Kok Beh. We spent some time there. When it's time to leave, Mommy tried to distract me by bringing me to this Elmo toy. I would instinctly pulled out the pacifier for him. But then, I grew curious and see what I did?

Hehe, it certainly didn't taste as nice as mine :)

We then went to have dinner. Initially Daddy wanted to try the Toilet Bowl restaurant, but on the way there, we passed Sakae Sushi. I immediately requested to have dinner there instead.

I loved the edamame beans and also the mochi. I refused to let Mommy or Daddy touched the mochi, even though there were 3 in total.

What a hectic day today, I certainly enjoyed my weekend with Daddy and Mommy.

My Masterpiece

Would you believe it if I told you that I actually did this on my own?

Here's how I got it done :) I could recognise all the alphabets character very well now, but I still need the tracer's help to actually write them out.

Helping Out

I enjoyed sweeping the floor. I first learnt how to use the broom when I saw Amah doing it a few months back. Since then, I was really intrigued by this thing and would go find them. However, I don't understand why Mommy always tried to distract me when she saw me coming for it. Well, maybe she's afraid the more I help, the more mess I'll create :P

after a tiring job...
