Here's how the ancient elevator at our apartment looked like - it could only fit 2 to 3 people, and came with a safety gate! If the gate was not closed properly, the lift wouldn't budge.
But it didn't look that bad from the outside, don't you think so? We're staying at the 5th floor.
We managed to capture a family photo right in front of the place where we stayed - it's hard to imagine such an old building would have a nice place to stay inside :)
Our destination for that day was The Peter and Paul's Fortress. Along the way, we passed by some nice spots.
At the metro station...
More walking to do after that...
SY taking a rest...
Oops, SJ's sleeping already! Can you see the people sun-bathing down there
A closer view...
Reached our destination finally - Introducing The Peter and Paul Fortress
Tired from the walk...

At the other side of the fortress - SJ's awake!
The girls were sitting on the statue's laps
Carried by Chiu Chiu and Gong Gong
The girls had a little picnic of home-cooked porridge on the grass for lunch before we went into the building
Inside The Peter and Paul Cathedral
These photos were from my brother's camera
These were from my sister's
Another family shot outside The Peter and Paul Cathedral
At the souvenir shop, with the 'souvenir' man
After that, we went to the space museum. Russian has created many astronauts to date...
And here were the dogs that had participated in their space program as well
Next, we posed with the rockets...
Another family shot
Now with the astronaut
SY and SJ didn't have enough of the astronauts, and wanted more shots with everyone
Some of the things we saw at the space museum
After that, we went to watch a Russian folklore show, "Feel yourself Russian".
It's a very entertaining performance, with some elements of humour. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
The master of ceremony
Some of the performances...
At a closer look...
The temporary artists "at work" while the main artists were having a break...
Look at how grand the theatre was (it's a palace!), we were served great food and wine during the break. One adult ticket cost us USD45.36 (my sister managed to get a 19% discount for us, and kids enter free).
After the show... look at how bright it was still, this photo was taken at 9.15pm.
Here's how the theatre looks like from the outside - can you spot us sitting down there?
Finally, the night view of St. Petersburg - this was taken at 1.41am
That's all for Day 4 of St. Petersburg. I hope I can update on our last day there very soon...

PSALM 1
1 BLESSED the man that doesn't walk according to the heretics' advice, stops in the sinners' road, nor he sits on the wheel of the jesters.
2 before have your pleasure in your law, and in your law he/she meditates in the daytime and at night.
3 because it will be as the tree planted ribeiros of waters close to, which gives your fruit in your time; your leaves won't fall, and whatever does it will prosper.
4 are not like this the heretics; but they are as the moinha that the wind spreads.
5 for that the heretics won't subsist in the judgement, nor the sinners in the congregation of the fairs.
6 because you know the road of the fairs; however the heretics' road will perish.
That the grace and apaz is always with you sister.
